I have a problem with my touch screen. The pen cursor does not point at the actual touch point. For example there is no way to click the close button of a maximized window. I try to calibrate. At the beginning, it really hard for me to calibrate because when i tap the plus sign (+), the pen cursor is not point at the plus sign (+). However, after tapping for many times for each plus sign (+), i manage to to calibrate it at last, but it still doesn't work. My pen cursor still not point at the actual touch point. What should I do? Can anybody help me? Is it because my monitor is damage? If it so, is it include in warranty? I bought this laptop on january 2008. If you did so the problem is with an entry in the registry, the entry is unique to your notebook model. You would have to install the original os, get the entry format again and put it in the registry. Or you can ask depending on your notebook model if somebody else has it. If you did not format it and are still having trouble just send it in for warranty. This is a common problem with this model. Get help from HP and you will likely have to send it in after a refresh to factory specs. kapblp View Public Profile Send a private message to kapblp Visit kapblp's homepage! I mean restore it to original factory? bielaurance View Public Profile Send a private message to bielaurance Find More Posts by bielaurance 04-12-2008, 01:56 AM #5 bielaurance Bie Laurance Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Malaysia Posts: 3 Rep Power: 0 Re: HP Pavilion Tx1000 Touch Screen Problem I do the recovery manager by restoring it to the original factory but still having the same problem. bielaurance View Public Profile Send a private message to bielaurance Find More Posts by bielaurance « Previous Thread | Next Thread » Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) Thread Tools Show Printable Version Email this Page Posting Rules You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts vB code is On Smilies are On [IMG] code is On HTML code is Off All times are GMT -5.
